Bear River
September 24, 1927: "In The Matter of a Bridge Across Bear River. On motion of Supervisor Flint, seconded by Supervisor Baldwin. Supervisors Flint, Baldwin, Sutherland, Cole and Anderson voting aye and no one voting no, it is ordered that Supervisor Flint be, and he is hereby authorized and empowered to construct a bridge across Bear River at the Victor Ambrosini place without notice, this being a case of great emergency." November 5, 1927: "Work on the new bridge over Bear river at the Victor Ambrosini place was commenced last week. The bridge will serve the people of upper Bear river, who have been badly handicapped in traveling in winter and will be an improvement that will be greatly appreciated by them." (Blue Lake Advocate)
