August 26, 1922: "Attention is called to a notice in the Advocate by the Supervisors calling for four bridge bids, two wooden truss bridges and two of concrete girder construction. One of the new wooden bridges to be built is between Korbel and Maple Creek on the Three Cabins road over Canyon Creek." (Blue Lake Advocate)
September 9, 1922: "The Supervisors Tuesday opened bids on the construction of four county bridges and let contracts for two. The contracts let are those for wooden bridges, one over Canyon Creek above Korbel, and the other across Cuneo Creek near Bull Creek. The former was awarded to Samuel Ralston of Blue Lake, for $1,635, and the other to Turner and Danielson for $1,750." (Blue Lake Advocate)
