CLEAR CREEK
Clear Creek
March 17, 1949: "Engineer Thomas A. Bigelow of the Klamath National Forest said today the last covered bridge on State Highway 96 will be replaced by a modern steel and concrete structure next summer.
The bridge spans Clear Creek nine miles southwest of Happy Camp. When it is removed only one covered bridge will remain in the county--Little North Fork Bridge four miles west of Sawyer's Bar near the North Fork of the Salmon River." (The Sacramento Bee)
